Patricia Gillings

Group Life & Pension Sales Officer, JN Life Insurance Company

Patricia Gillings is a seasoned transformational leader with extensive experience across diverse disciplines, including insurance, sales and marketing, corporate communication, project management, event management and administration within both public and private sectors.

Known for her strong track record of delivering stellar sales performance, managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams, Miss Gillings joined JN Life Insurance Company, a member company of The Jamaica National Group, in 2019 as a Financial Advisor and transitioned to the role of Group Life and Pension Sales Officer in 2022.

She previously worked at the JN Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Jamaica National Group in partnership with the Ministry of Education as a member of the Education arm of the JN Foundation iLead Project and then worked as the Finance Admin Officer at the JN Foundation.

Miss Gillings also worked with the Jamaica Public Service Company for 16 years in the Finance Division, the HR Departments and the Corporate Communications Department. Other organisations she has worked at include RJR Communications Group, Advantage General Insurance, which helped to hone her marketing, communication and project management expertise.

A results-driven professional with a commitment to excellence and continuous learning. Miss Gillings holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Management from the Nova Southeastern University in Florida, USA and an Associate Degree in Business from the Northern Caribbean University.

She is registered by the Financial Services Commission as a Sales Representative licensed in accordance with the Insurance Act 2001.

A former athlete, Miss Gillings also represented Jamaica in basketball, cricket, table tennis and netball as a Media Relations and Communication Officer. She is a member of the Melbourne Cricket Club and the St. Andrew Parish Church.

In her spare time, she volunteers with the JN Foundation and the Parent Support Committee at the Kingston College Chapel Choir.
