Business Relationship and Sales Manager, JN Bank

With three decades of service in the financial sector, Nina Peters has carved a distinguished career in banking, business development and relationship management. Currently, she serves as Business Relationship and Sales Manager for JN Financial Services in Catherine Hall, St James and the Montego Bay and Falmouth branches of JN Bank in St James and Trelawny.

In 2011, Mrs Peters commenced her tenure with the Jamaica National Building Society, now JN Bank. Prior to this, she served as a Business Development Officer at First Global Bank for six years and was selected as the First Global Bank START awardee for outstanding work in sales in 2009. She also worked at the National Commercial Bank in various capacities as a Business Development Officer, Customer Service Supervisor, and Marketing Liaison Officer.

She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing from the University of Technology, Jamaica. In addition, she completed a certificate course in Jamaican Securities with the Jamaica Institute of Management. Mrs Peters has pursued advanced professional training across various disciplines, including small business development, relationship building, sales optimisation and corporate reputation management.

Beyond her professional achievements, Mrs Peters has actively contributed to various organisations and community initiatives. She is a Justice of the Peace for the island of Jamaica and has been President of the Friends of Cornwall Regional Hospital since 2022, where she spearheads initiatives to support healthcare advancements and community welfare. She is also a founding member (2015) of the JN Articulators Toastmasters Club.

She has served as a member and representative of First Global Bank on the Manchester Chamber of Commerce; is a former Director of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce; Past Distinguished Secretary, Kiwanis Club of St Andrew; Past Director of Kiwanis Club of Rose Hall; and Committee member at the Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Mrs Peters’ pastimes include watching sports and movies and performing civic duties.
