Financial Literacy for

Community Champions

Are you a champion for positive impact in your community? Are you a member of a community-based organisation, voluntary group, church group or non-profit? We want to help you find a way to build resilience and increase impact by improving your financial management skills.

Don’t miss the Financial Literacy for Community Champions workshop. Two members of your group could receive a scholarship to attend, courtesy of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), the Government of Canada's funded Local Engagement and Action Fund (LEAF) project and the JN Foundation.

About the workshop

The workshop is designed to help you improve your group’s readiness for engaging with grantmakers and financial entities by identifying gaps in financial record-keeping, requirements for establishing formal banking relationships, compliance with legal requirements, and best practices for managing funding and reporting. Importantly, the discussions will provide a road map for addressing these gaps.
