Community Champions
Community champions, including members of community-based organisations, voluntary groups, church groups, and non-profits, play a vital role in creating positive impact. Strengthening financial management skills is key to building resilience and increasing the reach of that impact. This page serves as an ongoing resource hub for community champions.
Here you will find details on future educational sessions, materials, tools, and insights to support your continued learning and capacity development. These resources are made possible through the partnership of the JN Foundation, the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and the Government of Canada’s Local Engagement and Action Fund (LEAF) project.
About the workshop
The first batch of the Financial Literacy for Community Champions Workshop was a tremendous success in providing financial education to empower Community Champions to continue enhancing their community.
A series of one-day in-person workshops was implemented across Jamaica in Kingston, Manchester, St Ann and St. James, and was also made available to a virtual audience across the island.
